On paid plans, clients can save a card at booking, with their consent. Set a late cancellation fee and a no-show fee, then charge it to that saved card from the appointment.

Set up your own Stripe account from Settings. Stripe checks your details once, then turns on payouts to your bank.

Does BKRDY take a cut of my bookings?
No. BKRDY takes 0% commission on your payments. You pay for your plan, and Stripe's standard card fee of 2.9% + 30¢ applies to each charge.
Where does the money go?
Straight to your own Stripe account, then to your bank on Stripe's normal payout schedule. Your bank deposits are listed in Payments so you can match them up.
How is the deposit set?
One rule for your whole menu: a flat amount, or a percent so it scales with each price. A service with no price never asks for money up front, and you can also let clients pay in full.
Is card on file on the Free plan?
No. Deposits and full payment at booking work on every plan, Free included. Saving a card on file and charging late cancellation or no-show fees are on Solo, Studio and Studio+.
Do clients have to save a card?
No. Saving a card is the client's choice, with a clear consent line at checkout. They can ask you to remove it at any time.
Is there a card reader for in-person payments?
No. BKRDY has no card reader or POS. For a balance at the studio, mark cash, Venmo or Zelle as paid, send a payment link, or charge the client's saved card.
