Can a code be for first-time clients only?
Not as a setting. You can cap total uses, set an end date and a minimum spend, and limit a code to certain services, but BKRDY does not check whether a client is new.
Do codes and gift cards work if I don't take payment online?
No. Codes and gift cards apply at checkout when a client pays a deposit or the full price online. Turn on payments in Settings to use them.
Where does gift card money go?
Into your own Stripe account, like every other payment. BKRDY takes 0% commission, and Stripe's standard card fee applies.
Can I sell a gift card in person?
Yes. Issue one by hand from the editor for a client who paid you at the studio, and BKRDY emails the code to the recipient.
Do gift cards expire?
Only if you want them to. Set an expiry in months for new gift cards, or leave it blank and they never expire.
Are coupons and gift cards on the Free plan?
No. Coupons and gift cards are on Solo, Studio and Studio+, along with the rest of the paid tools like loyalty and the Content studio.
