Do text reminders cost extra?
No. Text reminders are unlimited on Solo, Studio and Studio+, with no per-message charge. The Free plan sends confirmations and reminders by email.
Are confirmations sent by text too?
No. Texts are for reminders. Confirmations, changes and cancellations go by email, which every client with an email on the booking gets.
Who gets text reminders?
Clients who leave a phone number and tick the text box when they book. Anyone who replies STOP stops getting texts, and their email reminders keep going.
Can I change when the reminder goes out?
Yes. Set it anywhere from 1 hour to 30 days before the appointment. The default is 24 hours, and you can turn email or text reminders off separately.
Can I send promotions or text blasts?
No. BKRDY sends booking messages only: confirmations, reminders, changes and review requests. There are no marketing emails, campaigns or text blasts to your client list.
Will I know when someone books?
Yes. You get an email for every new booking. On paid plans you can also get a text for each one, sent to the phone number you add in Settings.
